Overview

Gas work done safely, done to code.

Gas is not a DIY job. A bad fitting or an unpermitted line is a safety risk and an insurance problem. We're licensed gas fitters — every hookup, line, and appliance install is done properly, pressure-tested, and inspection-ready.

Because we're plumbers and heating techs too, we handle the whole picture — the gas line, the venting, and the water side of an appliance — with one crew and one number.

When to call

When you need a licensed gas fitter.

Some jobs you can't put off, and none of them should be done without a licence. Here's when to call.

You smell gas

A rotten-egg smell means leave now and call the emergency line. Then call us to find and fix the source.

Adding or moving an appliance

New range, dryer, or fireplace? The gas line has to be sized, run, and tested by a licensed fitter.

A pilot won't stay lit

Recurring pilot or ignition faults on gas appliances point to a valve or thermocouple issue.

Yellow or lazy burner flame

A healthy gas flame is crisp blue. Yellow or flickering can mean incomplete combustion — get it checked.

An old or DIY gas line

Unpermitted or aging lines are a safety and insurance risk. We inspect, correct, and certify.

Running gas outdoors

BBQs, fire tables, and heaters need a properly run and permitted line — done right, buried right.

What we hook up

If it runs on gas, we can connect it.

Not sure if your appliance needs a fitter? Ask us — most do.

Ranges & cooktops

Safe, tested hookups for gas stoves and cooktops, new or replacement.

Dryers

Gas dryer connections done to code, with the venting checked too.

Fireplaces

Gas fireplace and insert hookups, plus venting handled by our crew.

Outdoor lines

BBQs, fire tables, and patio heaters on a permitted, buried line.

We install & test it

Run the line, connect the appliance, pressure-test, and leave it inspection-ready.

FAQs

Gas fitting questions, answered.

Yes. In Manitoba, gas work must be done by a licensed fitter and, in most cases, permitted and inspected. It's a safety and insurance requirement — not just red tape.
